Philosophy

KP boilers can be connected in cascade to increase the total installed heat capacity. A prerequisite of connecting boilers in a cascade, is installation of boilers in close proximity and hydraulic parallel mutual interconnection. The hydraulic system shall be designed so as to be able to safely divert generated thermal performance of individual boilers.

Cascade of boilers should be used if the performance of one boiler would not be enough to cover the heat demand. Boilers connected in cascade are started according to the actual demand for heat. If the capacity of single boiler is not sufficient, additional boilers are gradually be started until full coverage of the heat demand.

The boilers are operating in cascade connected via network (LAN). Each boiler must have own a fixed IP address. If the LAN network is connected to the Internet, boilers can be controlled and programmed from any location with an Internet connection. Each cascade must have one lead boiler (MASTER) and accompanying subordinate boilers (SLAVE). One MASTER can operate 4 other SLAVE boilers.
